I Dream of Beni Imo
Ingredients

- 1.5 oz Aka Kirishima Shochu
- 1 oz Pacific Foods Barista Series Soy Plant-Based Beverage
- .25 oz lemongrass syrup -see instructions below
- .25 oz saffron syrup -see instructions below
- 2 dashes grapefruit bitters
- Lemongrass Syrup
- 1 1/4 cup water
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 stalk lemongrass (chopped)
- Saffron Syrup
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/8 tsp saffron strands
Instructions
Beverage
Step 1
Combine all ingredients in cocktail shaker.Step 2
Dry shake, approximately 10 seconds. Add ice to cover liquid. Shake, approximately 30 seconds. Double strain into coupe glass.Step 3
Garnish with 4 drops of Angostura Bitters.
Lemongrass Syrup
Step 4
Combine all ingredients and simmer for 25 minutes.Step 5
Remove from heat. Steep 1 hour, then strain and refrigerate. Syrup will keep for 7 days.
